In-depth Parameter Analysis of YH-1517 Palm Kernel Expeller

In the medium-to-large scale palm kernel oil processing industry, processing plants prioritize standardized compatibility, stable parallel operation, high oil yield, and low long-term maintenance costs. The 15–17 ton palm kernel expeller is a standardized, two-stage screw pressing machine custom-designed for medium-to-large scale production lines. Featuring stable single-unit capacity, strong versatility, and a low failure rate, it supports a multi-machine parallel layout to meet mass production demands, making it one of the most widely adopted core models for large-scale overseas palm processing projects.

Renowned for its excellent compatibility and stable output in parallel production lines, a single unit delivers a reliable daily processing capacity of 15–17 tons of cleaned palm kernels under standard working conditions. It also offers a secondary re-pressing capacity of 12–13 tons for pressed cake materials. With fully standardized performance parameters, multiple units can be flexibly combined to match the overall output requirements of medium-to-large factories. This modular arrangement effectively solves common bottlenecks, such as insufficient single-machine capacity and mismatched unit parameters, preventing costly production delays.

The machine adapts perfectly to standard raw material conditions, ideally suited for palm kernels with a shell content of ≤5% and a moisture content ranging from 8% to 13%. Equipped with a T-type mechanical pressure adjustment device, it finely tunes pressing pressure based on subtle changes in raw material humidity and impurities. This ensures consistent working status and stable output across all parallel units, guaranteeing efficient, unified operation and adaptability to palm kernels from various global producing regions.

Since the oil extraction rate directly determines profit margins, this expeller adopts a high-pressure, low-speed pressing principle, with the main shaft speed stably controlled at 10–13 rpm. This low-speed, high-pressure extrusion prevents high-temperature oil carbonization, effectively preserving the color and natural nutrients of crude palm kernel oil. Its pressing performance is highly stable: the residual oil rate after primary pressing is 14%–18%, dropping to an industry-leading 8%–10% after secondary re-pressing. This maximizes crude oil output and significantly boosts economic benefits. Meanwhile, the pressed palm kernel cake retains complete nutrition and a regular appearance, allowing it to be sold directly as premium animal feed, creating a dual profit stream.

To address industry pain points like high wear rates and blockages caused by hard palm kernels and fiber impurities, we upgraded the core wearing parts using premium materials and professional heat treatment. The main pressing worm shaft is crafted from 20CrMoTi high-strength alloy steel with a 2mm deep carburizing and quenching treatment, achieving a surface hardness of HRC 60–65. Offering superior wear and pressure resistance, it boasts a service life of up to 1,800 working hours. Furthermore, it can be repaired and reused 3–4 times via surfacing welding, drastically reducing long-term spare parts and maintenance costs.

The flat noodle-type pressing cage is manufactured from 45# carbon steel with a hardness of HRC 50–55. Its sturdy, anti-clogging structure effectively prevents fiber accumulation and machine jamming, supporting 24/7 continuous production with an exceptionally low failure rate.

Powered by a 45KW industrial motor, the machine is compatible with 380V/50Hz three-phase industrial power, fully matching grid standards in Southeast Asia, Africa, and other overseas regions. It features a coupling direct-drive structure with a power transmission efficiency of over 96%, eliminating belt slippage and power loss. The equipment runs smoothly with low vibration and noise, maintaining stable operation even under long-term, full-load conditions.

With compact overall dimensions of 3265×1365×1595mm and a net weight of 3660KG, the machine occupies a small footprint and requires no complex foundation construction. It can be quickly installed in standard workshops, helping customers deploy large-scale palm kernel oil projects in a remarkably short cycle.

In summary, the 15–17 ton palm kernel expeller is a highly cost-effective core device for medium-to-large palm kernel oil factories. With stable performance, outstanding oil yield, low operational costs, and flexible multi-machine parallel expansion capabilities, it perfectly meets the mass production needs of large-scale palm processing projects in Southeast Asia, Africa, and beyond, serving as the preferred equipment for standardized, large-scale palm kernel oil production lines.
