Working Principle:

Flaked palm kernels enter the pressing chamber where the rotating worm conveys material forward through progressively smaller pitch sections. The kernels are crushed and compressed, forcing oil through the filter screen while the kernel cake is discharged from the end. Compression ratio increases along the barrel length, squeezing oil through cage bars while compacting solids into cake. The choke at the discharge end regulates backpressure to optimize extraction efficiency. Extracted kernel oil flows to filtration, while cake is conveyed to solvent extraction plant for further oil recovery.
