Product Details

The CPO storage tank is designed for the safe storage of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO) after the clarification and drying process. Available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, these tanks come in capacities ranging from 5 to 500 tons to meet the needs of mills of all sizes.

Working Principle:

The dried crude palm oil is pumped into the storage tank where it is held at a controlled temperature to prevent solidification. Optional steam heating coils circulate through the tank bottom to maintain the oil above its melting point, while the insulation layer reduces energy consumption by minimizing heat dissipation. The tanks are equipped with level indicators, temperature sensors, and access manways for inspection and maintenance.
