The CPO storage tank is designed for the safe storage of crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel oil (PKO) after the clarification and drying process. Available in both vertical and horizontal configurations, these insulated storage tanks maintain crude palm oil at optimal temperature before further processing. Capacities range from 10 to 500 m³ to meet the needs of mills of all sizes.

Working Principle:

Crude palm oil is stored in the insulated tank with controlled temperature and gentle agitation to maintain oil quality. The dried crude palm oil is pumped into the storage tank where it is held at a controlled temperature to prevent solidification. Optional steam heating coils circulate through the tank bottom to maintain the oil above its melting point, while the insulation layer reduces energy consumption by minimizing heat dissipation. The tanks are equipped with level indicators, temperature sensors, and access manways for inspection and maintenance.
